Kids on Love. |
|
The following question was posed to a group of 4 – 8 year-olds: "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." "Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken." "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love." "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs." "Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don’t yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings." "Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired." "Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss." "Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." |

Love is when time not spent with him feels like time wasted.
Greetings, Jorge…Love is when I\’ve locked myself out of not only the car, but the house as well on a very cold day, and my beloved comes to help out with a key. Not only does he bring a key, he brings me hot chocolate as well…A beautiful entry; thank you so much…Peace.Marge
Ohhh…that last one made me make that audible sound that is impossible to spell. It\’s kind of an exhale with a "ohhhh" attached. Amazing post. Hugs,Jaime.
Thanks for this one! Tomorrow I am going to my sisters to visit with her and my niece and her boyfriend. We\’re going to put up her tree. I haven\’t even bought one yet..but I will. I do plan to relax and not push.
That was cool…
What they say–and you, too, Jorge. I think you got it pretty well nailed. But love is not only behavior but what\’s inside, as well, that indefinable, beyond words utterly sure feeling that yes! This is it! Truly.Peace, from the ill one. L.
Awwwwww… this is so sweet that it hurts a little just to read
Good Morning Jorge! :)That is absolutely precious.-Michelle
Hi Jorge,Just stopping by for a Sunday visit. Hope you are well and that you had a happy day. I was blue, but I\’m feeling a bit better. Whew! It\’s too fine a time of year for the blues, huh?Joy to you.Jaime.
A lovely bunch of sentiments! Loving your photos. I\’m also a fan of doors and windows: the one with the green shutters and the flower pots was my favorite.Hugs,MuMo
