Beautiful. As many beautiful photos as you posted, what blew my mind was the guys (photo 39?) playing bocci ball in a trough. The neat thing about bocci is that you can play it anywhere as long as all players agree on court boundaries. But the trough adds such a strange diminision that I would intentially lose a few games just to learn the dynamics. Sorry, I\’m a boring old jock.

Oh, I love the photos and your first journal entry. It makes me soooo long for my vacation there this summer. I will not be doing the French Riviera, but the Italian side of life awaits me. A nice little cottage in a vineyard/orchard just outside of Rome and minutes from the sea. Two weeks to relax and enjoy Italy! Can you see the sigh upon my face?
I am still
suffering from the loss of my computer through the German ZOLL (customs)
Government departments here in Germany are no different than in the USA. The
rules are so extensive that no one really knows what they are.
For the past five weeks I have been relegated to borrowing computer time so
I have been unable to really visit around to all my Spaces friends but I hope to
get back into the community one day. Either I will fix my computer myself when
it returns (?) or I will get a new one ($)
I hadn\’t realized how I missed everyone here till I couldn\’t stop by
anytime I wanted!
