Firefly

Apologies to the those who missed Monday’s Poem of the Week yesterday. I had an unexpectedly early arrival yesterday of our out-of-town guests. This short poem is my nod to the memories of summer, now behind us. Hope you enjoy this belated post. Be well.

Firefly

Harbinger of summer of nights

Evanescent flash of lights

Childhood’s memory delight

My Midwest candlelight.
